Playoff- Bound Basketball Teams Claim League Titles

 

The CCSF men’s basketball team finished conference play with two dominating wins over Chabot College (106-83) and beat Ohlone College 93-56. Rams finished the regular season with a record of  27-1 record and a Cost Conference title.

Conference MVP Malcolm Johnson finished the season averaging 13.4 points and 8.4 rebounds.  Sophomore Emeka Udenyi and freshman Quincy Uribina and Deschon Winston were named 1stTeam All-Coast Conference North. Sophomore Austin Harris was named 2ndTeam All-Coast Conference North.

The Rams are the No. 1 seed in the NorCal bracket and will play the winner of a Cosumnes River/Lassen play-in game. The game will be played on Saturday.

Playoff-Bound Basketball Teams Claim League Titles

There was no stopping the City College of San Francisco basketball teams in the 2018-19 regular season.

The women finished their conference play 11-1 and crowned Coast Conference Champions. The rams finished the 2018-2019 season with an overall record of 22-3 and capturing its fourth Coast Conference championship in the past 5 years.

The Rams had 4 starters averaging double figures throughout the season. Sam Erisman (22.5 ppg), Errayanna Hatfield (21.4 ppg), Ma’ata Makoni (10.3 ppg) and  Vivian Woo (10 ppg). 

Samatha Erisman was named the Coast Conference MVP and was first-team All-State, while Errayanna Hatfield also made first-team and 2ndteam All State. Ma’ata Makoni earned the All-Conference 1stteam and Vivian Woo earning Second team All-Conference.

This coach Derek Lau’s 5thyear as head coach and 5thconsecutive year heading into the playoffs.

City College tips off its playoff run Friday against Fresno City (18-11) at City College of San Francisco 7PM. The Rams will be the No. 5 seed in the NorCal Bracket.
