Coming off its first Coast Conference North Division championship since 2018, the City College of San Francisco men's soccer team was named the No. 7 seed for the upcoming Northern California Regional Playoffs. Brackets for the postseason tournament were released by the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) on Monday.

The Rams received a first-round bye and will host No. 10 Evergreen Valley College in a second-round game on Saturday (Nov. 19) as part of a playoff doubleheader with the CCSF women's soccer team. The men play at 11 a.m. followed by the women's game at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices for the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) postseason game are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old. Tickets are available online at the CCSF Athletics website. Cash will not be accepted at the event. | TICKETS

The Rams, under head coach Adam Lucarelli, wrapped up the Coast Conference North Division title with a 7-3-1 mark and enter the postseason with a 13-4-1 overall record. CCSF returns to the playoffs after a one-year absence. The Rams reached the postseason for four straight seasons from 2016-19, including a state championship semifinal appearance in 2018.

Evergreen Valley finished second to the Rams in the Coast Conference North Division at 6-2-3 and is 10-5-4 overall after its opening-round win over Napa Valley College on Wednesday.

Three wins are needed by CCSF to advance to the 2022 CCCAA State Championships on Dec. 2 & 4 at American River College in Sacramento.
