Rams Roll to Nine-Game Win Streak

The City College of San Fracncisco Men’s Soccer pushed their win steak to nine games after defeating De Anza College 3-0 today at CCSF.

The win improved the Rams’ overall record to 11-3-1 and they now sit atop of the Coast-North Division as the only unbeaten team at 8-0.

CCSF forward Christian Guzman factored in on every score. The Guzman assisted on an Eruvey Arceta goal at the 15th minute, and scored two goals (52nd min, 68h min).

Goalkeeper Javier Hernandez continues to stifle opposing offenses with his solid play. He saved four shots on goal against De Anza.

Although the Rams running on all cylinders, Head Coach Adam Lucarelli knows not to be overly optimistic.

“We have won our first eight conference games and have only allowed five goals, the tough part of our schedule is coming up and we still are working to improve,” Lucarelli said.

The Rams travel to Monterey Peninsula on Friday for a 2 p.m. game.
