The City College of San Francisco Men’s Soccer Team opened conference play with Two wins last week after defeating Gavilan 4-0 last Tuesday and followed it up with a thrilling 1-0 win against Ohlone on Friday.

The visiting Rams’ offense was on full display in their 4-0 win against Gavilan. CCSF had four players score a goal apiece (Jared Macdonald, Adom Shamrock, Raul Perez, Eruvey Arceta). Arceta also assisted on two of those goals.

The Rams received strong contributions from Goalies Thomas Soto and Javier Hernandez. Soto racked up two saves while Hernandez tallied one.

CCSF’s 1-0 win against Ohlone was a thriller in comparison to their blowout victory against Gavilan.

The Rams and Ohlone held each other scoreless heading into the second half. Then at the 55th minute, Adom Shadrack put the Rams up ahead for good with an amazing unassisted goal.

Soto had another strong showing, with three saves.

The Rams host Foothill College on Oct. 2 followed by an away match on Friday at Cabrillo.
