The City College of San Francisco men’s soccer team played the best game of its season on Friday, when it beat Skyline 1-0. Mark Estevez found Bobakr Hussain as he crossed midfield in extra time. Hussain then passed to Tobi Oladapo in open space. Oladapo advanced the ball to Gian Marco Zancarnaro, who beat the goalie with seconds remaining to ensure the win. The Ramscouldn’t follow up their effort as they lost on Tuesday, 2-1, to De Anza. They’ll get back into action Friday against Monterey.

The women’s soccer team also won on Friday and lost on Tuesday. All-American Jesse Bareilles netted a hat trick in the earlier match against West Valley. The Rams won that one, 4-0. But they lost the more recent game, dropping a 3-2 decision to Hartnell.

The women’s volleyball team went 2-1 last week as Kijana Black logged 70 kills and Jennifer Quarters-Styles notched 75 while Pamela Dungo had 138 assists. The Rams were named No. 12 in the state after going 17-3 with four games remaining.
