The City College of San Francisco Rams held on to beat Chabot, 21-19 on Saturday. It was a relatively low-scoring affair considering CCSF racked up 646 yards of total offense. Namane Modise rushed for 210 yards on 29 carries, and Easop Winston continued his torrid pace, hauling in 12 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown. The 3-1 Rams return to action on Saturday at home against Butte College.
Women’s volleyball
CCSF won another three matches last week and it now sits atop the standings at 10-1.Kijana Best contributed 72 kills and Pamela Dungo logged 140 assists over the three contests.
Women’s soccer
CCSF played a scoreless tie against Fithill on Friday, when Jocelyn Amable turned away all three shots she faced. The Rams, at 4-1-2, don’t return to the field until next week.
Women’s water polo
CCSF launched their season with a pair of wins at the De Anza College Water Polo Tournament on Saturday. Natalie Taylor contributed nine points, two assists and four steals and logged five saves over a half in net.
Men’s soccer
CCSF tied Los Positas, 4-4, on Tuesday. Gian Marco Zancanaro and Bobkr Hussain each scored a pair of goals.
