Since opening the season as the #1 team in California, City College of San Francisco men's basketball has not taken their top ranking for granted.

After beating San Joaquin Delta 95-68 on Saturday to open the annual Golden Gate Classic at The Wellness Center, the Rams went on to rout Diablo Valley 109-72 the following day to stay undefeated and move their record to 9-0.

"Our offense and defense are right where they need to be and improving each game," Rams head coach Justin Labagh said Monday. "The men are playing unselfish and everyone is involved."

With four players averaging double digit scoring through the first nine games of the season, City has been content to spread the love around, offensively. The Rams are averaging 91.4 points per game as a team, meanwhile, having eclipsed the 100-point mark twice already. Their narrowest margin of victory was 17 points, when they defeated Santa Rosa Junior College 81-64 on November 9th.

CCSF will travel to Stockton next weekend to prepare for the annual San Joaquin Delta Tournament. On Friday, they will face Sierra College to open the three-day event, before playing at College of Alameda on December 20th for their final pre-conference game of the season.
