It may be early into the 2019-20 season, but City College of San Francisco's men's basketball team is clearly out to prove that they belong right back in the CCCAA championship game.

After dispatching Mt. San Antonio College 93-61 to open the season on November 1st at The Wellness Center, the Rams then dismantled the then #2 team in California, San Diego City College the very next day, rolling over the Knights 87-51. CCSF then wrapped up the three-day Tip-Off Classic with a 98-67 blowout of Yuba College.

Newcomer Miles Norris, the University of Oregon bounceback, scored 12, 8, and 22 points in the three Tip-Off victories, while freshman Ezekial Holman had 8, 20, and 17 points through the same three games. Sophomores Quincy Urbina and Dale Currie also had a strong tournament, with Rams head coach Justin Labagh able to empty his bench at will, due to the lopsided final scores.

City College then went on the road Saturday evening, beating Santa Rosa Junior College 81-64, with Quincy Urbina leading all scorers with 17 points and 9 rebounds.

The Rams will head to Aptos next Saturday to take on Cabrillo College, before returning home following a 10-day break to host Monterey Peninsula on November 26th.

City will then travel to Marysville for a rematch with Yuba College on December 4th, then prepare to host the Golden Gate Classic at The Wellness Center on December 7th and 8th.
