The state-ranked No.6 CCSF Rams (3-1, NorCal Rank No.2) will look to push their winning streak to four games when they host state-ranked No.12  Butte College (2-2, NorCal Rank No.8) this Saturday at George M. Rush Stadium.

The Rams come into this matchup fresh off of last Saturday's 21-19 win over Chabot College. In the close contest, the Rams totaled 646 yards of total offense (284 passing yards, 362 rushing yards). Sophomore standouts running back Namane Modise and wideout Easop Winston led the charge for the Rams' offense. Modise's 210 rushing yards on 29 attempts allowed the Rams to continually move the chains downfield to setup CCSF's three touchdowns. When Chabot's defense looked to neutralize the Rams' running attack, Winston took advantage of the one-on-one coverage he faced. Winston totaled 12 receptions, 116 receiving yards, and one scintillating one-handed touchdown catch that set the social media world ablaze.

The Rams' defense held their own against Chabot by allowing 317 yards of total offense (180 passing yards, 137 rushing yards) and holding them to a third-down efficiency rate of nine percent (1-of-11). Sophomore linebacker Chaz Briggs led the defense with nine total tackles, and freshman defensive back Michael Lawson came up with the defensive play of the game with an interception that sealed a CCSF victory in the game's final minutes.

The Rams will face a Butte team that is coming off a 14-7 loss against College of San Mateo. In that low-scoring affair, the Roadrunners looked to their running game for an answer against CSM's defense. Of the 415 yards of total offense, 322 of those yards came on the ground. Butte running back Martin Fleming Jr. ran for 185 yards on 20 attempts with one rushing touchdown.

Saturday's matchup figures to be a battle between the Rams' defense and the Roadrunners' running attack. The Rams rank 13th in the state with 295 yards allowed per game. Butte comes in with a running game that is ranked No.2 in the state with 985 rushing yards.
