CCSF Handles ARC

by Jacob Palmer/SF Examiner

The City College of San Francisco football team had another impressive offensive showing on Saturday against American River in Sacramento.

Easop Winston had a ridiculous 228 yards on 14 catches with four touchdowns to pace the Rams receiving corps. Quarterback Lavell McCullers finished the contest with 566 yards through the air and another 50 on the ground with eight total touchdowns.

Accordingly, CCSF cruised to a 51-36 win.

The Rams took control of the game with a 21-point second quarter that featured a 92-yard McCullers to Winston connection.

CCSF punted just twice — going 3-for-4 on fourth-down attempts — in the contest that didn’t feature a lot of defense: Evidenced by the Rams outgaining American River 693-312

City College (2-1) returns home for their next game on Saturday against Chabot.
