The City College of San Francisco Baseball Team are off to a strong start, winning 4 of their first 7 games. Head coach Mario Mendoza credits the early success to a strong core of motivated young players. After winning on the road at Porterville, coach Mendoza feels optimistic about the team's potential moving forward. “We are a very young team, but I see us getting better each game” (Mario Mendoza).
Infielder Alex Torres had a strong performance over the weekend going 5-7 with a triple, a double, and 4 RBI’s. Outfielder Justin Robinson also helped the Rams to victory going 3-4 with 5 RBI’s.
The Rams head into the week with an away game Tuesday February 12th against Monterey Peninsula College, then returning home Tuesday February 19th against West Hills College.
